I've just got a 600d and I've been playing around with it this morning indoors. Withot the flash in Av mode at f5.6 it has a speed of 1.6 secs. With the flash it's half that which is presumably a mixture of ambient light and fill flash? What setting do I need to change so it defaults to 1/60th of a sec like it does on automatic? I thought it was: flash control/E-TTL meter II/Average but it doesn't do anything - the results/speeds are the same. I prefer the results with ambient light, but was just wondering for future reference.
