Hi does anyone know of any restrictions on taking a DSLR to this event

The only restriction I can think of, is that you shouldn't be allowed to take videos. Although just in the paddock probably...

There's no restrictions at all, as long as its for personal consumption.

Had a great weekend here and just so people know in the future. You can take dslrs in no video seems strange they don't question phones. No alcohol but you can take water but no glass or cans or aerosols.

Yeah the no video part is due to the fact the rights owners don't want stuff appearing on YouTube. However, they don't mind still images being plastered all over Flickr, Facebook etc!

I will put some up in couple of weeks, still traveling
