East Anglia Essex or Suffolk location

looking for a location to take 2 horses to and have a photo shoot done.
Old abbey, woodland or some sort of ruin

Any ideas please?
Also how to get permission?

Where abouts do you live roughly Kerri it would help to narrow it down, are you thinking just shots of the horses grazing or being ridden?

I'm based near Manningtree but have Horsebox so can travel them.
Basically a famous photographer wants to use my horses as models for her work but I need to find some locations for it x

Ok cool, if it is forest you are interested in from manningtree I would head up the A137, then A14 east and A12 north, come off at melton then drive up through Rendlesham forest towards tunstall and see what looks good. Nice mixture of open heathland and mainly coniferous forest.

You could check it out on street map first, the dashed lines are bridleways;

In that direction you could carry onto Leiston for a ruined abbey and up to dunwich for a small ruined abbey (but I think it's gated) or the beach/Heath then up to covehithe for a larger ruined church.
