Taken from Being a'Chrulaiste on Saturday morning. The sunrise I wanted failed to materialise but i was quite pleased with the results. C+C welcome

I feel as though some odd stretching is happening in this photo. Particularly on the left. I may be wrong though.

The LHS is oof and its a little off putting but on the whole the shot is very nice and well executed and I like the uniform band of snow on the mountains.

Nice picture. Is it difficult to get up there? It’s on my to do list.

Nah, you'll get up there easily enough in around an hour or so. Biggest issue was the lack of path / boggy sections.

That was in the dark at 4am mind you lol

Thanks. Is there a path that leads from the bottom to get an idea where to go? And place to park car nearby? I hope to do it in the next few weeks. Thanks.

There's a car park on the other side of the road and up a little. Not much of a path tbh but if you research it at all or have a pair 9f eyes you'll see where to go [emoji1]

Well done on making the effort, it is a nice balanced image, well processed too.

I am wondering if it is a pano or a single shot though?

I believe the issue appears to be camera movement, possibly caused by wind, more prevalent on the left hand side, and slightly lesson the right with the middle in between. If this is the case, I have had this issue myself, where the lens at a particular angle acts as a sail and the wind buffets it, but other shots in the pano sequence don't show it as much.

Oh, well it is an excuse to climb back up there for the sunrise you are after.
