I can't believe Ive actually gone and done it, had a 9-18mm and hardly used it so sold last year, now have a hankering for another 9-18 but keep going for silly money and saw a deal on a new 7-14 for about £100 less than most and it was their last one so went for it!
 
Stupid? No. But mad? Depends on how violent the misses is when angered! ;)

I have the 12-40 Pro and the 40-150 Pro - two great lenses. If it as good as them then it will be a really nice lens. Enjoy - you only live once!

But step back 2 paces first depending on how convincing you are :D
 
If I had any money, my better half wouldn't notice a new lens, if she did I could pull it off by saying 'just another one of those old manual focus jobbies' She knows I buy and sell a lot, not just camera gear, so she just leaves me to it. So long as I'm not spending the kid's lunch monies :D
 
My OH doesn't care..I think what I spend is less than her Next bill ( £337 on Friday alone :eek: ). On this basis, I'm pretty safe

Nothing wrong with the lens and what you say t the Mrs is up to you.

I bought the Panasonic 8-18mm f2.8-4 instead as I want to use filters with it. I thought I would be keeping the 9-18mm Oly but I am not sure now.
