Went to Southwold for sunrise this morning & was treated to a crazy bright red & orange sky. The sun didn't even break through but that didn't matter in the end.

Nothing other than mesmerisingly epic describes these. These are amongst the very best coastal shots taken in the UK.

Nice pair of images. The exposure is spot on. Its easy to over expose seascapes like this when balancing sky, waves and foreground.

Were these a single shot or bracketed?

These were single images, in the end. I did take two shots for each (highlights & shadows but found that I could manage with the single shot. There was a nice glowing type light so the pier & rocks weren’t to dark to start with

I'm not usually a fan of coloured sunset/sunrise shots, but these are lovely.
