As I get older, I notice that the years fly past much quicker then they used to. This topic seems particularly apt as one year has just ended and another started.

As usual the following rules apply:

- Must be taken by you
- Must be on film
- Must have been taken, developed and scanned prior to the start date of this challenge.
- Discussion in the discussion thread (link below) rather than this Entries thread, please.

Please include details of the camera, lens, emulsion and anything else of relevance if you can possibly remember that far back.

One Entry per person only.

Entries close at 16:00 on 10th January 2024 (or thereabouts), to be followed by about 3 days for the poll after that.

Please keep all discussion and chit chat in the discussion thread: https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/t...allenge-discussion-thread.698995/post-9389603

Magnetic Island, Queensland, 1973; image showing the effects of time!

Plus-X in my meter-less Werra 1, exposure guessed from info inside the film packet. This probably sat in a packet in our loft in Adelaide for over 20 years, temperatures varying from around 1 to 45C! Not sure if the effect is fungus or reticulation (on another frame from the same roll, it looks much more like reticulation to me).

Local Hero is a long-time favourite film for me, and still seems relevant after 40 years. This photo was taken in 2017 on my first visit to Pennan, which was one of the 2 locations it was filmed. It's also one of my earliest returns to film with Poundland Agfa in the Olympus Trip I got for my 21st birthday ......... :snaphappy:

My Consul Classic taken about 1967 with Pentax S3 area Archway London...the road has gone and in it's place are ugly council flats. Easy parking in those days.

My dad had a Classic. It's the first car I was able to drive after passing my driving test.

We appear to have a clear winner in @excalibur2 's fine photo . Well done Brian, it's now over to you to choose the next subject.
