Not sure if this is allowed, but I've bought a few things off one particular eBay seller. When I contacted her about the first item (a lens) she said it was all her husband's kit.

The lens turned up and was mint.

So I ordered a Minolta Himatic G2 - and that turned up and was also mint.

So I ordered an XG-M and two lenses (and they were mint). She also threw in a Vivitar light-meter which is also mint.

I keep looking at her listings (and trying to stop myself buying more) and she's just uploaded a shed load more. Including some brand new in box AF kit.

5000, 500Si, 600Si, couple of 7000s. If someone was after some cheap Minolta kit, then I can send you the link.

If it was her husband's then he must have been a Minolta dealer or had ridiculous GAS. Ther must have been 10 manual cameras originally, and now there's a load of AF stuff (plus a couple of manuals left).

Anyway, just thought some of you may be interested. I obviously can't vouch for it all, but honestly, based on the stuff I've bought, I'd say most of it hasn't been used.

I have 3 (oh it's 4 as I forgot the dynax 5!) minolta AF bodies already so I think a 4th (er 5th) would be too much however tempting it is!

There is the film bargains thread so I'd think popping the ebay link in there would be ok. I'm sure any mods would jump in quickly if an unruly scrum started

Very tempting! I had a 500si outfit at one time and liked it a lot.

Is she selling it for what he told her he paid for it? ;)

There's a lot less than there was...

Although I was hoping at least one of you would go for the SR-7 to stop it tempting me...

Also hoping someone picked up that bundle with the two cameras, lens, flash, bag etc all in boxes for just over £30.

Nothing really of interest unfortunately: a couple of 7000s, one damaged, one OK. No interesting lenses, although there may have been earlier. The 28-85 (on a 7000) isn't bad at all for the era, but I don't need a zoom in that range.
