That's one of the reasons I like visiting! No, we're still in the Dark Ages over here. Some live in caves and rub sticks to make fire . . .
Thanks for the YT link, I'll take a look now.![]()
Been looking to get a new Tassimo machine and had one in my Amazon list which was around £80. Looked this morning and it's now £34!![]()
It was actually £32.49 on Amazon (now £55,49). It's £34.99 from Tassimo.Have you checked Tassimo's own prices? We had to replace ours a few weeks back (bar code reader window fnurked!) and Tassimo were the cheapest place to get the replacement
8 net birdies in 9 holes! Bandit!First game of g*lf since holiday - 3 1/2 weeks off...
Despite a blob (non scoring hole), I managed 24 Stableford points over 9 holes. MOST unusual for me - I usually have a couple of decent holes but 4 pars in a round is a first.
Got mine at the begining of the year...great aren't they...shame they don't work on trains!Today is a milestone for my wife and I. Last year we got our GOG (genuine old git) bus passes, today we used them for the first time. We parked at Bluewater shopping centre and took the bus to Dartford, where we bought some quality, fruit, veg, spices and a couple of Polish Pilsner beers from an International shop. We had a good walk around and then came home, before it got too hot. It was an adventure which we both enjoyed, so we will have get a bit braver next time and try further afield.
Congrats! I'm only 18 months behind! Mad how time goes, madder how she's put up with me for so longA delicious Tapas lunch to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.
Sue and I have been together since December 87, so not far behind in that respect. We've been a couple for 40 years but only married for 19.
No, you're just old! We'd have had to have been married when I was 6 and she was 1!Darned lightweights!
55 years here and still loving every minute of it.
Survival is a proof of fitness, according to good old Erasmus Darwin! No, you're just old! We'd have had to have been married when I was 6 and she was 1!![]()

Wayne Rooney, when asked what he thought of the World Cup halftime show: "I thought it was crap!"![]()
I thought Shakira was good, but the rest was pretty awful. He's right, I turned over, then fell asleep, but luckily woke up to see Spain win and the disgusting Argentinian behaviour post match. Glad Spain won and Mbappe got the Golden Boot ward.
