Week 30 : Shadows

Looking across Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells from St Patrick's graveyard, Heysham. I waited quite a while for the sun to come out briefly giving a nice shadow.

Well worth a visit. Graves cut out of stone bedrock on the cliff that predate the church. Viking Hogsback stone with scenes from both Norse & Christian eras.
