I have the similar Panasonic GX80 but since getting a Sony A7cII and a couple of compact lenses my MFT kit is hardly used. I can't really see myself buying more MFT kit when the size differences between MFT, APS-C and FF are arguably negligible these days at least for me and with some lenses.

Not really, the weight advantage was the trump card for m4/3 so if they're equal why wouldn't you choose the one with the better image quality? Of course, it depends on the lenses, m4/3 still has a weight advantage with long telephoto lenses
