Anyone got one and found the flash setting dial won’t move and the star filter lever is also very stiff? Mine has started doing that. I can’t remember if the shutter makes a noise or not. I don't think it has a lockout.

I haven't used it in months but i don’t remember it being this bad. Only used it twice so it is a bit annoying. Was going to use it for the sh,,,, camera challenge.

Optimistically tried to load a film into it and it's not winding on nicely at all so I think it's basically fit for the bin :rolleyes: So that's 2 dead cameras from Reto both with transport issues that make them unusable. Judging by the amazon comments I'm not alone with having it die after barely any use :mad:
 
I'd looked at a H35N on occasion but, now thankfully it seems, didn't get round to buying one.

Hope you've had it less than an year and can get a refund.

I did try and find my needle nosed pliers to see if i can move the flash wheel.

Might have to use the blower brush thing to see if i can firtle dirt out from under the flash dial. It’s literally immovable. I did try wanging the star filter lever back and forth too.
 
Had a go with the blower brush and also wanged the star filter lever some more. Noticed the star filter lever is less stiff when you distort the camera body by squeezing it.

I can only move the flash dial by hand if I squeeze the body and twist down on the flash dial with excessive force like I am trying to rip it off the front. It will not move otherwise. It isn't something you would expect to do to switch between flash off or on.

If I want to move it easily then i need the needle nose pliers. Took a while to find them. You can feel it loosen and then snag depending on how much squeeze you put on the body.

It is on the naughty shelf.
