flash gun cables

Ok this is the setup at the moment and it works kind of bit tech but here goes two pana cameras G9 and G9ii

Two Godok V860 iii flash guns - fired by a remote transmitter Oppalis and received on each camera with Oppalis receivers. Llink cable from camera to triggers needs a 2.5mm cable abou t16 inches long for each receiver

Now this is the ??? issue
using a cable each end being 3 pole the remote trigger fires both cameras

However add the Godox X2T master to fire the 2 Godox flashguns and nothing works (ie no flash ),using the 3 pole cable in the oppalis receiver and same in the camera

At the moment waiting for two 4 pole cables same length to arrive , So all I have Is a 4pole in the camera G9ii to 3 pole cable end in the Oppalis receiver
which works . both cameras fire as do the two flashguns.

So hopefully getting a couple of 2.5mm cables 16" long (waiting to arrive) and both ends being 4 pole might be the answer

The XT2 will fire those flashes with nothing else needed.

I think the Pixel Oppilas are used to remotely trigger the cameras.
So the aim (as I understand it) is that the Oppilas trigger is held in one hand, and fired by pressing the button.
This triggers the two cameras via the Oppilas Receivers (each mounted on the hotshoe, but they don't need to be. it's just a convenient way of holding them in place)
Camera with XT2 mounted then triggers remote flash via XT2.

yes I did know that but thanks for the heads up. It is firing them remotely as per second para mentioned in my post As I tried to explain using the Oppalis remote shutter release the cable appears to need a 4 pole 2,5mm cable for the Panasonic G9 ii camera. I only have a 4-3 pole cable and no spare backup hence ordered 2 x 4 pole cables

top 3 pole bottom 4 pole

Why? good question. First because I can do this and second two shots at same subject from different angles ie bird feeding station. No limit to what can be added, more cameras= more flashgun - more remote receivers

I’m confused that the title is ‘flash gun cables’ then.
As the question appears to be remote trigger cables.
You stated the flash guns we’re triggered by the Opillas
Two Godok V860 iii flash guns - fired by a remote transmitter Oppalis
But it appears you mean the Opillas are firing the shutters.

So the test order (in my mind) is to attach the triggers to the cameras and test, without flash.

And if that works, then add the XT2. If it doesn’t, then try with different triggers / cables.

Your original question is confusing to me, and it’s not clear why you’re adding details about the flashes if it’s a shutter triggering question. And if it’s a flash problem why confuse with shutter triggering question details.

yes the Opillas are firing the camera shutters and the camera is firing the flashguns via the Godox system. One thing I came up against is cable length. the ones I had just are not long enough to reach from the Opillas on top of the Godox X2T master to the camera remote port
Opillas supply a cable one end 3 pole and the other end 4 pole. Can I find anyone sell this in the length needed? No. So had tg resort to getting two cables with 3 pole on each end with further testing seem to work. Also added and waiting for same but 4 pole on each ends

The trigger doesn’t need to be mounted on the xt2*, you can just leave it dangling on the short cable. Though a Velcro cable wrap to the tripod or camera strap might make you feel better.

* in fact unless it’s a completely cold shoe, it stands a risk of interfering with what you’re trying to achieve.

True but with the risk of falling off and getting damaged, but not my style.

Good idea but Why? that would alter the balance of the camera. At least your thinking out the box, as they say.
I was assuming the cameras were on tripods (the cold shoe bracket has a tripod screw hole on it's underside) - it was an alternative if you were unable to get the alternative cables, or the one you did get failed to resolve the issue.
