anyone done it?

I dropped my lens & knocked the aperture blades out of position..... Inspired by Youtube I stripped it down. One week later I have reassembled it. Not right yet, as the lens moves forward under finger pressure from the rear, but the blades work fine! I did not understand how the plastic spirals...
