First thread in a long time. Had a mountain (no pun intended) of images to work through from five amazing weeks in the Pyrenees last year.
On the first few days there winter came early and I was keen to get back to Gavarnie, as I hadn't been there since 2019. I was over in the Pyrenees in 2021...
366 days ago I took this. Drove down from Scotland on the Saturday - was in Luz st Sauveur for a nice lunch of fois gras and margaret du canard on sunday sat outside in glorious 30c heat.
Later on I drove back to Col de Tentes, The sky was clear and it was hot. It was a lovely day for a 40 min...
These were all taken on the Pic de Tentes trail.
