Hi there,

Today we would like to share a few images from our latest shoot which we did with the same team of people who worked on “La-Vander Shadow” shoot: http://aurumlight.wordpress.com/2010/10/18/la-vander-shaddow/

This time we went for the classic beaty look.

hope you guys like it and if you are interested you can find couple more shots on our Blog:

BTW, we've used Paul C Buff Alien Bees for that shoot.

Technically excellent pictures. (y)

Lovely colours, well lit, and look nice and sharp even at such a small size. :)

The first pic really says 'Roman'. I would have preferred the model turning slightly so that we could see the whole of the far eye.

In the second pic I find the wispy bits of the hair a slight distraction, especially that the pics are so sharp.

PS. Just had a look at the Blog site Jaroslav. There are some stunning pictures at a very high quality. Well don to yourself and all those involved. (y)

We did shoot the model in slightly tilted position - but I picked that one because it was more like bas-relief, but on the blog you will find full frontal look ;-)

In terms of the distracting hair - once I removed them - people from my team said that it look to "sharp" therefore appeared as a little to fake - I left that just to show that we can do sharp images and it is a little bit more natural.

I saw the other 'Roman' pic, which is again, excellent, just a slight turn of the head to see the other eye was all was saying, not necessarily looking towards the camera. ;) I think the position of the arm helped for that 'Roman' feel too and was a goo attention to detail. (y)

At least I wasn't the only one who had noticed the hair. You've obviously considered the options and made the right choice. :)

Absolutely stunning

I notice you have a D300 in your kit bag, is that what these were taken with, can't see any exif, would you mind letting us know lens etc.

I've got a D300 and I know I've got a long way to go, but you just pushed the bar a little higher than I thought it was - I'm hoping you shot these with a D3 and a £3k lens ;-)

:) Thanks

Indeed, these photos were taken with my D300 and my Nikkor 70-200VRII @ 140mm F8

We have a miner here :) but thanks anyway! I appreciate that Del8boy!
Looks like I should show something new ;-)

Best regards
Jaroslav

It is all cool man!
When I said I apprciate your comment that was true!
Please don't take that "miner" too personally - the topic is just quite old - that is all :)

All the best
Jaroslav

Sorry mate , I just stumbled upon your pics and thought they were great, didn't realise how old the thread was until I just looked at the date. Great stuff regardless. All the best. keV

Simply stunning.

Nuff sed.
