100 people project

I've decided that I'm going to do a 100 people project to get my motivation back a little.

The plan is to do the project over July and August split between Glasgow and Edinburgh

But still haven't made my mind wether to do it all candid or do portrait aswell

Anyone got any tips for me?

I walk along looking for interesting characters or an image that tells a story. If I am doing them for my 100 strangers project I'll ask, if I want a more candid shot I won't.

should find a few of them about, in glasgow or edinburgh anyway lol, thinking a mixture would be best just to help with my confidence abit, aslo im only using my 50mm 1.8

Why not do one of each?

Originally the 100 strangers project was used to approach people. Not take candid sneaky shots of them. But to approach them. U can still take a candid shot but only after u asked them. This challenge is used not just for your photo skills but for communication skills and fear factor.

What I mean is do the original 100 strangers challenge, but also do a further challenge of 100 candids!

Seems like a great idea to me. Photographing people is always challenging especially if you want your photo to tell the story.
