100L + 1.4tc

Just a wee experiment - had an outing with my 100L + Kenko 1.4tc. Really enjoyed the additional working distance but overall the IQ was a bit disappointing. Any thoughts/comments ?

Alan, was thinking of doing this myself as i have the 100mm 2.8 and the kenko. Not really qualified to comment on the IQ, but like the image,

Thanks - maybe I just had an off night but I couldn't seem to get anything that was really nice and sharp. Worth a try though

Thanks Allan - not that sharp though I think (and that was my best result from several attempts!) definitely not in the league of the MPE65 anyway
