1839 Awards category winner

Afternoon all

Just found out that an image that I submitted to the 1839 Awards was awarded Gold and category winner of the Travel section.

Last year, I entered the same image into the Travel Photographer of the Year, but it did absolutely nothing. So I put it in for another couple of competitions, and this just happened. It's also being exhibited as part of the Nat Geo Traveller competition in London.

Absolutely!

A similar thing happened with another image last year.

I entered a panorama into the Epson Awards. It didn’t do much. Put it in for the International Garden POTY and it was a finalist in one of the categories.
