I went out into my Town with my 1950's British Ensign Selfix 12/20 + 75mm f3.5 Ross Xpres loaded with half shot roll of 02/2007 dated Ilford XP2 Super i took out of my Pentax 6x7 Mk i and re-loaded into Selfix as I had not used it for a long while -- well i found on processing in the last of my 'NOVA' C41 Press Kit that the 'Albada' viewfinder was not accurate ---- I got a lot more at the TOP and cut off at BASE of frames -- I will show you some results -- I rated film at 250 ASA and the 1/300th shutter speed at 1/250th second as the top speeds are always slow and the negs were all evenly exposed . I scanned with my old Epson 1650 flatbed + Vuescan Pro + PhotoShop 7 .I 'guessed' the focus on all of them as camera has NO rangefinder and was 'out' only on one.
Old Court House -- top cropped off -- focus on 20 feet -- 1/300th @ f8 + light orange filter held over lens.

A 'test' subject -- here I used f22 @ 1/50th second --focus on 12 feet -- it is sharp !
Selfix 1220 test 02.jpg
Funeral Hearse -- ONE CHANCE only to snatch this -- 1/300th @ f8 focus was 'out' a bit.

British Postman in our High Street -- 1/300th @ f8. focus on 25 feet
Selfix 1220 test 05.jpg
A Poster -- 1/300th @ f11. focus on 30 feet

A Strange Double Image on the one of the metal seat which is on the negative !

Lovely work Pete. I do like an Ensign camera, I've had the 16-20, 12-20, 320, 420 and 820 over the years. I still own the 820 and it is an absolutely wonderful camera, built like a tank and as heavy as a heavy thing but a great lens.

Thanks -- I forgot to put on a pic of the Camera I used in case members have never seen 'Selfix'es' ----

Good work Peter, I love B&W when it is done like this. I am quite a fan of double exposures and I really like number 2.
I must run a couple of films through my Agfa Super Isoletti this sumer I have rather neglected it for a couple of years.

Great News ! Yes USE it or it will go 'Rusty' !
