1DMk3 - AF expansion ?

Found it in the manual, I am damned if I can change the settings on the camera though, what am I missing ?

Isn't this a custom function? Or have they moved this to a personal function? It is a custom function in my mk2.

Yep C.Fn111-8 but I can't seem to alter the function to Enable surrounding AF points ?

when you get to function 8 press the button on main dial which will highlight one of the three options then scroll to the option you require then press again.

It's a superb function as well. I generally use central focus point only and the expansion is great as the subject drifts off the centre due to useless operator capability.

good thing about it as well is that if you change the focus point it enables the points round the newly selected point as well, if I understand it correctly anyway.
