1st HDR Attempts - Whitby

Popped to Whitby on the way back from a visit to family in Sunderland. Place was totally rammed due to the nice weather, so tough to get shots in.

I know it's not everyone's cuppa, but thought i'd try HDR on these 2 bracketed shots:

What stops where the brackets? I love the shots, you can tell they are HDR but its not extreme, looks good!!!

I really like them. 1 is my favourite. 2 looks like it needs straightening, but thats probably the natural lean of the old houses.

Like the bottom two thirds of each image but on my monitor the clouds do not look quite right..

The PP halo around the horizon (especially in #1) is a bit distracting, otherwise quite attractive images.

Think they're both very pleasant good comps although a little to tight at the bottoms for me. I'm also a bit distracted with the halo in the first, and the clouds look a little too grey.

Overall very nicely done both.

Cheers for the comments. Need to learn how to do a bit more tidying up in p-shop once i've done the HDR.

Syder 3 pro was delivered today, so at least my screen should be correct for editing!

ps - think the brackets were set at 0/-2/+2 - my A700 does this automatically.
