1st light trail

Inspired by looking at posts from other members,I thought I'd give this a go. Not the best night, only managed 3 shots before the rain came.

Not bad for a first attempt what were your settings, it's important to think about timing as you started this exposure with a car already on the slip road :shrug:

Hi Matt, thanks for the feedback, it was your posts that I was looking at earlier.
Camera settings
f/9.5
30 sec exposure
iso 200

This was the first shot I took & only meant to check the exposure. I was beaten by the weather this time, but can see this being a challenge to get the right timing & camera set-up

Have you read my guide to light trails?? as to settings I would try closing up your aperture a little more and if possible run a longer exposure at a lower ISO

Went back for another try, no rain & a better sky tonight

f32 & 20 second exposure
