2 snaps of dad's Caterham yesterday

It's been a while since I posted, but I upgraded my camera yesterday at last to a D700 from a D300. It's brilliant. I took it out for a little test yesterday and although they were more just snaps the camera felt a lot better. Photos are rubbish though

I disagree, photos not rubbish, not stunning but I prefer the 2nd, it looks like the camera POV is lower. That for me imparts how low the car is itself.

And so begins the upgrade to FX glass lol (I know, these were on your 70-200 but still).

Think the car being so small means you end up with a loose comp unless you set up really carefully. Look pretty good IQ wise.

You'll really appreciate FX in your line of work i'd think.... you must use wide angle lenses for rigs etc and they become just better!!

I like 2 & 3 the reflections of the barriers in the paintwork, again the low POV looks good for sports cars. I'd actually popped back to ogle the Seven again!
