Not sure about the background on the hover. Thoughts?

I think both are good shots, I see your point on the hover fly, the grass seems to be competing with the main subject, I think that a simple reduction in the level of saturation on the back ground with a light blur applied and a slight list in the saturation of the flower and fly would help the main focus shout out a little more, I have posted a swift edited version to show what I mean:

I think the top one is an orange spot butterfly, looks similar to one of mine, but i cant tell without seeing the underside of the wings. Nice shots!
