Yes
Well I have a feeling that 2008 is going to be a good year.

Without this ef 70-300is I would have been stuck at home looking at the camera in stead of using it... great for those dull days.
It started to drizzle so the robin and wagtail are taken with the little zoom, although I did wish I'd got my bigma for the Wagtail as 300mm was'nt enough so the iq has gone .

That robin won't go hungry this winter! Lovely photos, crystal clear.

Nice, The Robin tops it for me. (y)

Good photos, far better than my efforts from new years day.

All the photos are very sharp.

Out of curiosity did you use layer masks on the Robin pic?

The reason I am asking is that the DOF does not seem to be conistant

Great start to the new year, no 1 and 3 for me well done.

Nice shots. (although something weird going on with the robin's tail)

Lovely pics!
The robin has had to many leftovers by the looks of it, and I didnt realise starlings are that colourful =]

Thanks for all your kind comments .

Jason, do you mind if I ask whether you apply any 'noise removal' to your images?
I took a shot of a female Blackbird today (I think it was anyway).
By the time Id finished cropping, the noise looked quite excessive to my eyes.
I was at ISO 640, but the 5D usually handles that quite well.

nice set of shots (y)

i really do like the starling shot (y)

Very nice pictures, nice and sharp.:clap:

thanks to InaGlo, ed34, Trex450, taxi.

ive got the free downloaded neat image so i use this sofware as the image are only 800x? this will allow the hole image to be prossed . neat image only smooths out the noise after ive completed ps usm if needed.
there is alos a technique for the b/g if any info needed ill help where i can.
