Firmware Version 2.02 is now available for download for the 20D. If you have the last upgrade then this one only seems to solve problems with Eos Capture. If you don't have the last upgrade though, then it' s probably worth installing as this upgrade includes the last one which does solve a few other issues.
If you do go ahead with the upgrade make sure you follow the instructions to the letter and that your camera is either connected to mains power or has a fully charged battery. It's not unknown for cameras to lock up during firmware upgrades and it's then a job for a Canon Service Centre to sort out!
