24-70 f/2.8 problem

Well i got my new lens today, was ok all of today until i got back from work. I tried to take a photo and it gives me this...


First 3 photos are in low light, last photo is with all my bedroom lights on.

It seems to disappear anything f/6 and above, f/2.8 is the worst. I opened up the aperture to look through the lens, and it all looks fine. Tried the lens on a different camera, same thing happened.

Anybody ever seen something like this before? :crying::crying::(:(
 
Condensation on front // rear or possibly internal element?
 
It looks a little like some major flaring going on inside the lens, with light bouncing off the inside edges of the barrel. Would explain why it gets slightly better as you stop down.

Definatley not right and I doubt you'll get any trouble doing a swap. Unless you're like me and it's not enough to get it sorted, you want to know what the problem is too. :LOL:
 
Spoke to the guy i bought it from and he agree's its faulty, being sent off to day for a replacement. :)
