40D Viewfinder

Evening all,

Basically it is that I can see a little curly arrow - much like the one on the Return/Enter key on the computer - in my viewfinder just in between the top and top right focus points.
It wasn't there one minute and then the next shot I took it was right there. I'm assuming I must've knocked something but I don't know what, or how to change it!

Any help is much appreciated,

Sounds like dust to me.

It most definetly isn't. It is a definite arrow and it doesn't show up on any of my pictures, it also has a definite arrow head.

It not being on the images means it could be on the mirror or focusing screen, whatever it is.

That's true, although I have no idea how it could have got there! Cheers.

Nobody have any ideas? :shrug:

It blows in when changing lenses, I've had dust on both the 40D and 400D focusing screens.
