5D 1 Shooting tethered to an ipad

As title, can this be done? I would love to be able to use an ipad or similar and shoot tethered with my new 2nd hand 5D1 (please tell me I can

Tethered no.... but you can download to the iPad with a camera kit.

I really is a shame because even on the 6D that can connect wirelessly to any tablet you can only control the shutter button as the app is extremely basic.

It would be possible to do that but you would need the 5D Mk11.

The piece of Equipment that is required is call a CamRanger, and is expensive at over £200.
