5d mk2 shutter count

Does anyone have the software installed on their computer for reading the shutter count from a 5d2?


If so, could they possibly check the count on mine if I mail a pic?

I use a 64bit iMac so that wont work, hence my request for someone who has the software installed

You can get a 32 bit IE extension for chrome, works the same

You need the camera attached to the PC for this to work AFAIK.

Pretty sure there is no way of getting a shutter count from a file on current Canon bodies (and then only certain models will work correctly), you need to have the camera attached to the computer via USB port.

I'm thinking of selling my mk2 and would have liked to know the count before I offer it for sale.

My machine at work is 64bit so won't run it either.

Hi,

I have used EOSINFO and the Eosmsg one mentioned above - both on my 64 bit machine, you just need to use Internet Explorer 32 bit

I used 40DShutterCount on my Mac, it worked for my 5D mark II.
