My el-cheapo manual extension tubes arrived yesterday and so I set about creating a macro (or sudo macro) masterpiece for my 365.
Set the aperture on the lens to f/16, left all 3 tubes on and fired up the camera.
Unforutnately what I found was that I got four points of flare/ghosting which marked out the four corners of a perfect square when using the 5d2. The square pretty much marks out the boundary of the AF points.
I thought possibly it was being caused by the viewfinder or a light leak in the tubes - alas I couldn't find any way to resolve it.
I swapped the setup straight over onto my 30D and the problem dissapears.
Anyone any ideas why it occurs, why only on the 5D2 and whether there is anything I can do about it?
