7d Lenses

asking for a friend who is thinking of buy 7d, is it better to have EF-S lenses or L lenses on this crop body?
it will be manly used for filming

for filming, you're probably best off with a few primes (think 24, 50, 85 and 135?) and maybe 24-70 and 70-200 zooms... depends on what you're doing though.... don't forget that video DSLRs aren't really for reportage shooting, and need a lot of money's worth of follow focus / rails / support for decent video...
