If it doesn't cause it to fill it's knickers, at the very least, I think you could be there a while!!

I have a little over 61,000 photos in my LR library and it's OK (on a somewhat ageing last generation PowerMac G5).

I've got nearly 80,000 in Lightroom at the moment. No problem whatsoever. However I'd suggest you do it batches or you could find you'll be hanging around for a long while.

its essentially cataloging software so i hope not

it shouldn't - my catalogue is now bigger then that - but as above, importing them all will take a long time

aye seems to have been fine, they've all been in at one point or another i just pondered whether importing them all at the same time would be an issue but seems good

LR1, Yes it will cack itself! LR2 you shouldnt have too many problems if you just give it time.

I've done over 100k in one, took a while and looked to have locked the program up but I left it over night and it completed fine.
