Yes
Are Spotmatic F’s m42 and ME Supers K mount ?
Just been sorting through some stuff at my mums yesterday and came across most of their old kit
So far
A Spotmatic F + 50 mm iirc
2 x 135mm and 2 x 2x converters in both bayonet and screw mount

There is a ME Super lurking somewhere, but not found it yet

AFAIK, yes - Spotties are M42 and MEs K(F).

Yes, the Spotmatic is M42. But it's not quite as simple as that. While they will take a standard m42 lens it has to be a late Takumar with the mechanism to actuate the metering. Otherwise you have to stop it down.

This is the one you need.

Bit confused by the double set of aperture markings on the Vivitar.
It moves through the white ones the left ok, but does not open or close the aperture.
But it will not move over to the green set. Wondering if it needs to be on a camera for that IMG_9385.jpeg

This page would seem to answer your question...

It's a TX series lens which accepted different mounts, similar to the Tamron Adaptall series of lenses.

It was a mount specifically designed to confuse everyone. It's no wonder it was short lived. :D
