With these insects I prefer to get a full body shot with some of the background if possible because I feel this shows their beauty off better than a 1:1 or closer shot. (and it is a bit easier as well :cool:)

Small Magpie moth. This one was hiding in a clump of crocosmia plants, so I had to hold the leaves aside with one hand while shooting one handed with the other.
