A "chocolate box scene"

That seems to be a phrase used only by people of a "certain age", but I reckon that if boxes of chocolates still had photographs (or paintings) on their lids, then I could find a market for this shot! A view on the Lancaster Canal. For more info go to http://photoreflect.blogspot.com

you are right, a perfect scene...I can hear the chug chug chug of the narrowboats engine, so peaceful, nothing like being on one of these on a warm summer's day. I love steering them too! :)

like this, nice and peaceful!

I see no photo... Can see the link in the page source but it's not showing up?!?

edit: It looks like the "," in the filename is throwing firefox...

Sorry about that px18 - I suspect my host was down when you looked. I got the pic at home when I looked, and am now getting it at work, both using Firefox after clearing the cache. I may tidy up the filenames in future though, just in case! The shot should be available through the link (more clicks, I know!) that I usually post. Thanks for pointing out the glitch.

beautiful shot tony, love the splash of red in the middle of the picture from the boat.

The host was working as I could view the image via the blog. It's a strange problem. Refreshing the page and the images appear or don't seemingly randomly. I checked your other posts and the problem is the same. I've not seen this behaviour with inline images in other post/forums/sites. The page info in Firefox shows the link for the image in the media panel but shows it as 0x0 pixels and not cached.

I'm not getting any errors in the log but it's as if Firefox is just giving up loading the image before it starts. I've checked and load images from external sites is enabled...

Odd...
