A Fawn..

Had to be very quiet to sneak up on this little one, it was quite early and thankfully the wind was blowing straight into our faces so allowing us to get this close. It was taken last summer on my Samsung NV10 point and shoot .If you squint you can just make it out...

How i wish i had my dslr and 300mm.

bet the dog didnt help much.
Still a deer is a deer (just about)... you needed a longer lens

You'd be suprised actually, the fawn was so inquisitive it walked up to us and at one point seemed to be checking if Chaz was another deer and he totally didn't react. Maybe because he was reading my body language, ie. i was hunched down low moving very slowly so he basically did the same. I got some footage and put it on YouTube.

Thats a good bit of footage... its good to have the back of Charlie's head in it too.......makes it a bit different.
