Hi,
Went to the lakes with my daughter Saturday. It was her first trip out with me so wanted to go to some interesting places. Did Latrigg and Honister then went east over to Haweswater to outrun the rain clouds as I have never been there.
So, after getting up near the top we came across this awesome Bothy.

Not sure which image works best, so here are four of my favourites.

4 nice images there Stu, but #2 stands out in my view, crisper than the others and showing the shepherds hut at its best.
Did this walk from Shap via the Abbey, the other end of the water from your viewpoint, and remember being very knackered at the end.

Good photographs. The Old Corpse Road. It's thought that the buildings may have been used for peat storage.
One of my favourite places.
No 2 for me. Its slightly warmer.
Sorry but No1 looks a little distorted due to the wide angle.

you did well with the snow caps adding to the interest
best for me?
no2

Hmmm, not too keen on the mono conversion, my first thought was that it looks like one of those models used for table tops.

Beautiful images...............
