Evening all,

C&C always greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

the monkey is fine...the others look a bit thin...over exposed perhaps

was your camera on auto exposure or spot metering...

Rob, personally I love the softer colours on the Lions, I think mrcrows looks overdone and the colours look false.

The B&W monkey is absolutely stunning and a nice crop.

agreement on that...here it is without my ambitious work..just thickening up the grass tones..
my take on the originals was exposure was dominated by the lower illuminated levels of the overall image...thats why i was interested to know what type of metering was being used...
the actual matrix is dense and full of pixels...i had to use 48% to get the 800 image down to 200Kb...
a good camera with a good sensor and full framing does this..the original was uploaded at 494Kb..
and i put it here at 51% to get under the 200Kb

apologies for the gross tone change on the lionesses coat
