I am getting bored waiting for the insects ! Been messing with ways to defuse my flash, here are three test shots...

When I first read the post I read it as key and a penny in the ball of a ball point point. I was thinking you tried what I did with my portrait in it lol

When they arrive you will be able to get bored shooting out of focus or blurred shots of them when they move.
I can't wait for the insect season to be upon us once more. I've even been looking for spiders lately, but there's none round here

Cracking shot of the key... looks like the makers mark on some huge piece of industrial equipment

I think the Penny shot needs a little more depth of field... but then that's often easier said than done!

You need to clean the pen! I've tried to get decent shots of a ball point pen, and I've even seen a self portrait in the ball before now, which is what I'd like to achieve... now there's a challenge for you
