A Lonely Rose

I took this photograph at winter time. This was the only flower to be seen in my garden and thought id best get a photo of it before it dies off.

Another photograph taken at the same time as the rose of my White orchid in the window. I quite like how the reflection in the glass gives a nice edged, and softened feel to the photograph.

very well taken...have you tried soft spot focus on picassa 3 to give a surrounding halo aura in softness
i think your rose could be sharper...if you are pottering around in the garden its easy to put the camera on a tripod and move from site to site to get steadiness and dof
