The hovers have been getting themselves trapped in our conservatory and so far over the past 3 days, I think I've captured about 20 of them and released them back out into the garden.

Anyway, a couple of hours ago, one decided to come down and visit me at my desk so I put my hand out and it happily crawled onto my finger.

Background is crap but that's just a result of light fall off.

1/200th @ F11, ISO 100 - Hand held in my right hand which wasn't easy. Darn camera, gripped with macro lens and flash isn't the lightest thing :). (And yes, I do bite my nails.. lol)

I think you will have trouble finding a collar and lead for when you want to take it for a walk!

hehe, they are kinda cute in their own way :)

pmsl, I can just imagine it, finding a collar for a hover fly... or at the least everywhere I go it taking a ride on my shoulder or something :)
