A few shots from a short visit to the N.Y.M.R. this week.
The weather was a bit mixed after a weekend of wall to wall sunshine, but I had a good time all the same.

First up is ex LNER K1 No. 62005 "Lord of the Isles" which is spending a few days on the moors running in after some repairs.

Another visitor to the moors is ex GNR N2 No.1744 seen here getting a helping hand from 7F No. 53809.

"Lord of the Isles" again, leaving Goathland/Aidensfield.
Just visible through the smoke is the FYLINGDALES phased array early warning system.

The N2 earlier in the day.

I really like #2 with the bleak moors in the background..

Do you know a timetable or do they run steam pretty much every day (for an 'off the cuff' visit)?

EDIT: scratch that Ive just looked at your link.....thanks!
