A Quiet Read

I quite like this photo, although I think I sometimes get 'carried away' because it's my Grandaughter.

It's taken at Ilam Hall, Ilam, in the Manifold Valley.

It is a great place for photography almost any time of year but especially in Autumn.

It was a very, very dull and damp day indeed and with nothing to photograph I took this and was surprised how decent the shots were.

That, for me, is an "oohh almost" photo.
I cant quite say what's missing/wrong, but something doesnt quite cook.
Maybe she's a tad too small in the shot, or looks a little uncomfy, dunno, but....

Well, I must admit she does get 'peed off' with me taking her photo...

normal , i will use f2.8 for DOF and brokeh , but the way you took this photo is quite different
