Hi all.
Just got back from a weekend at the coast. I did a lot of scenec photography and on the last day decided to try and get some action shotsa of seagulls etc.

Most of the pics I did had the subjects too far away and always flying away from me..:( somthing I said?

Anyway i still like this pic even though you can't sea his head.
what do you guys think and does anyone know what it is?

By the way - taken hand held with a 70-200 f/4 L (@ 1/1000 and f/4)

this is a similar looking bird..managed to get a bit of the head on this one.

No idea what it is but for me I would rather see the head.

I agree, I would rather have the head too, but i still like the picture and think it's a keeper.

My first attempt at bird photography and 1st time with the 70-200, think i need a mono pod. If i could win the loto the f/2 version with IS would be nice.
