A stroll through the Cemetery

I decided to make the most of the 'nice ' day here even though it was cold and went for a stroll through one of our old cemeteries. I love to walk round as it is so peaceful and I decided to try a few shots of the statues and headstones there. These are just some of them.

Think I prefer the third shot from a composition viewpoint,maybe adding some pp or a b&w conversion could enhance them further

I too think No 3 is the best, in No 2 I feel there is too much to look at and No 1 would benefit with a shallow depth of field to put the branches out of focus

Thanks Martyn and Mark I have to admit No 3 is also my favourite. Will try some other conversions

Like #3 best feel theres a great shot to get there, if you shoot from the grave of 2 from the right, you maybe able to get it like shes looking down (or at least in the direction of) on the grave next to it, if you get what I mean

:shrug:Thanks Barrie and Dave ........ might try that when I go back Dave...... thats if there are no graves next to it - can't remember now but think it is on the end of a row so will be able to try it. Any graves next to it that mean I'd have to stand on them and he shot wont be done lol - can't stand on the graves even though I know it isnt as though they know I have stood on them :shrug: lol
