A trip to lakenheath a couple of weeks ago

took a trip along with a friend to lakenheath and thought i would share a few of the photos that turned out reasonable. Was a bit of a dark gloomy sort of day but its a day out.

not bad, i would have upped my ISO to 800 and shot @ f8-9, its been a few years since i last visited - they had some Hogs staying over while the Spang runway was being re-surfaced..
 
to be honest i sat there for a while playing with camera settings and saw nothing but the one f15 that took off towards us too quickly for me to take a pic of, then about 10 plus aircraft appeared and landed in a row lol. I was caught off guard
