Hi all,

Muppet alert here.

How do i add pics from my flickr or photobucket, so the photos come up on the page and not just as links.

Thanks

Copy the BB code from the picture page (the one that starts [img ..... ) and paste it into the reply box here and the job's done

Thanks, is that for Flickr also, know how to do it via photo bucket, just finding it easier to put the photos on Flickr so going down that route.

I've tried the copy and pasting of the BB code from my flickr page countless times, but all I get is a red X when I try posting here!:shake:

Is there any way of generating multiple links from Flickr say from a complete set as opposed to having to do it individually?

I right click the image I want to post and click "copy image url" then paste that between the image tags. Easy peasy!

There is a step by step guide here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=2880451&postcount=53

Note that the share button you see in the guide has just changed on flickr. It's still in the same place but they have put facebook and twitter icons instead of the word Share. Just click on the small down arrow to the right of those icons.

I've seen that and it does work but I think I am right in saying that Photobucket allows you to select multiple images and then generate urls in one go.

Would be handy of Flickr could do the same.

In case anyone else is having a problem with this, I've just noticed that in Chrome, when you click on the new facebook-widget-thing the dropdown doesn't always drop. Had to use Microsnot's IE earlier.

I say "doesn't always", because it's working now...

Ian.

Thank you for the info about Flickr, i will have to remember just to put a title on my photos and not use the quote signs, as these get written up as quote in brackets and looks stupid.
