Adobe Camera Profiles

I apologise if this has already been posted but I've only just become aware of this link over at the Nikon Cafe and it's really worked some pleasant wonders for me:

Similar to Nikon's picture controls accept for Adobe Camera Raw & Lightroom!

Don't forget that these profiles only work with DNG'd files. That won't work with native CR2 and NEF files

Incorrect my dear chappers, the camera profile software is directly for ACR and LR, to work directly with NEF and CR2's or else I'd have no use for the software at all.
I've edited around 600+ NEF's so far with the camera profiles and it does the trick just nicely.

Would I be right in thinking the colour primary's are only available in CS versions of ACR?

I've got that plug in installed on my ACR in Elements 6.0, but it only gives me the option to choose a profile without any adjustment sliders.

But! Your quite correct with regs to the DNG profiler, I just tried having a go with that and you must convert to DNG before attempting to play.
